SHARING A LOCAL HARVEST

A lovely local lady called Lynn.... just rolls off the tongue doesn't it, noticed a post last week about my foraging wild plums around our local area and thought who better to ask (and she was right) if I would like some of her excess berries! I hot footed it to her beautiful property and much "trialling" of the different varieties of berries ensued. Check out the stunning views from the berry patch!!

CWA cookbook is now out...and berry jam will be made this afternoon!

How privileged do I feel! Honest to goodness berries straight from the canes.....Thank you Lynn.......they have gone to a good home where they will be lovingly made into a jam/trifle/coulis/berry smoothies/muffins mmmmmm!

Christmas in a jar!
