In Winter, some mornings in the Southern Highlands can look like this.....
Foggy, iced up cars, branches dripping with heavy dew.
And before you know it the sun starts hitting those branches and bits of blue start popping out in the sky.
After having one of "those" weeks, we can't wait to go exploring one of the many quiet offshoot roads, around the highlands.
We took a backpack filled with cornish pasties and hot tea.....rested whenever the view coaxed us to stop....sometimes we talked....sometimes we walked in a comfortable silence......wrapped in our own thoughts.
I so want this coat of woolly Alpaca...
Saw some yellow Gorse flowering...
Another OCD wood pile....
As far as the eye can see, the beauty is endless.
Sooo wanted to climb up here, pity it was on someone else's property.... can't remember the last time I climbed a tree....it's now on the bucket list.
We walked past a driveway, and no, this is not an old photo from Autumn. It's doing it's Autumnal show right now.
Walking..... don't ever underestimate what it does to your body, brain and soul.
Sometimes, before we set out on a walk , my brain will be jangling around with 5 million thoughts and of course all of them on repeat.
So here is the analogy, just like this empty country lane, my mind is now clear and straight.
What clears your mind? What soothes your soul?
