WEIRD SHAPED STUFF TO STORE
Our studio/office has zero cabinets and with the added bonus of a pitched ceiling it makes placing any form of furniture up against it, quite challenging. Also lugging things up steep stairs is no walk in the park.......
So I came up with this super easy, quick and cheap idea. It only took a couple of hours to knock up. It's not a designer piece of furniture but it will do the job.
Firstly I cut down the pallets to size.
They were just a little too wide for the space they were going in.
Now lets make something out of this stuff.
Some bright poppy orange perspex, pre- ordered once I had my measurements. A couple of lengths of timber framing from Bunnings.
Measure the timber and cut. Always measure twice you can only cut once!
These lengths are going to be my "in between" pallet separators.
Carry all this up to the studio.
A glue gun and drill will be needed to put this all together. I drilled the corners down to keep the pallets secure and also level.
Squirt some glue on the timber separators, press down and then lift to help with the tacking process. Repeat as you build the different levels.
Place perspex which was pre-ordered to size. These are going to be my shelves.
I measured that 15 times to make sure it was right!
Put away weird shaped photography stuff.....
