I have to say I am a huge fan of the Hydrangea. I'm really lucky to live in a cool climate area where they flourish and put on a cracker show. I'm also lucky to have the full spectrum of colours, the pinks the blues the purples which says a lot about the ph levels in the soil. No I am not going to get all scientific on you! I also have lots crisp white ones also, which as you may know stay true to colour.
Don't you just love it when Hydrangeas get that beautiful mottling effect on the petals. These remind me of strawberries and cream......
Sunlight streaming through the window.........highlighting those pretty petals.
Even if you don't have a big garden they are a brilliant pot specimen. As long as they don't get that harsh afternoon sun you will be rewarded for many months.
Whats your favourite Hydrangea colour? I can't make up my mind which one I love best! I love youse all!!!
